Audio capture from the mic input and use it for streaming over HTTP

Hi,

I am trying to stream audio from one iMX53 board to another using a WiFi Direct module provided by a third party vendor.

Using VLC player, I am successfully able to stream music from one board to another (using HTTP over WiFI Direct), but I am unable to capture the audio input from the mic and stream it using VLC.

Does anyone have a solution in capturing the audio input from the mic?

OS used: Ubuntu lucid lynx
