Android Kitkat 4.4.3 Surface flinger

Hi

Ours is a custom board based on imx6 we are currently using Android Kitkat 4.4.3.The Kernel consist of Android Linux 3.10.53 and root file system consist of kitkat.But as soon as the systems is booted i get a android logo after which the screen becomes blank. when i give logcat to see the android level log.we have noticed  a log stating

W/SurfaceFlinger( 109): Timed out waiting for hw vsync; faking it

is this the reason the android GUI is not coming up or is there any other change need to be done in file system.
