Do you happen to know which Android 6.0 release is your customer using? and also the CTS version?
I believe that upgrading to android O8.0.0_1.0.0_GA may help on this case, looking at the CTS 8.0_r4 test report for i.MX6Q SabreSD the following tests are marked as passed which fails in your customer side.
