Hi,

It seems that Windows7 cannot detect i.MX6Q(and i.MX6DL) SDB when the board is in file transfer mode (MTP) in Android 6.0.1_2.0.0.

But the photo transfer mode (PTP) works fine, so I always copy files into /sdcard/DCIM folder and transfer to other folders in the console.

The Android KK4.4.2 works fine in MTP.

So any ideas to improve the MTP mode in Android 6.0.1?

All the best

Kane

Transfer data from phone to computer, you can try some data backup softwares, and I think it can be easier with an android assistant app, you can save a lot of time to transfer or backup text messages, contacts, photos, and other media files like videos, music files.

Hello,

  From "Android_Frequently_Asked_Questions.pdf" :
"In the Windows® 7 OS, in theory MTP can work together with ADB, but it is
also found that some hosts with the Windows 7 OS fail to support it."

  Please check ADB configuration.

Regards,

Yuri.

Hi, Yuri

Thanks for your reply.

When I enabled the "USB debugging" in "Developer options", the storage device of the board did not appear in "Computer". But there is an icon for ejecting board in the lower right corner and a unknown MTP device in "Device Manager".

When I disabled the "USB debugging" in "Developer options", the storage device of the board also did not appear in "Computer". And there is no icon for ejecting board in the lower right corner. With a unknown SABRESD-MX6DQ device in "Device Manager".

All the best
