It will run, But, I did not test. why I am telling this should compatible because imx6 related board files definitely will present in source. So, we can able to select the board.
Thanks for your reply. Yes I think so, but I suppose it will need some configuration outside the documentation from NXP. I will try to test it to see if it can run flawlessly. My biggest concern is that I wanted to see if the WiFi driver for 88W8997 and the device itself work.

As our EVK does not match the minimum support hardware target of the latest release we decide to not continue updating to the newer versions, of course, someone could build a custom board that matches these hardware specifications but we do not support it from our side.
