The iMX8MQ and iMX8QM has the same MIPI interface (“2 x MIPI-CSI (4-Lane, 1.5 Gbit/lane)”.
But from the release notes, the V4l2 capture capabilities are different.
Why i.MX 8MQ support only 2 camera? Can it support 8 cameras if we updated the BSP?
Supports 2 cameras on i.MX 8M Quad and 1 camera on i.MX 8M mini.
Supports 1 camera on i.MX 8QuadXPlus.
