Hi Team,

I have a query regarding the M7 Cortex core in the iMX95.

I need to connect one of my AFEs to the M7 Cortex present on the iMX95. Could you please share the pin details or mapping for the M7 Cortex? I couldn’t find this information in the datasheet.

Additionally, could you let me know how to debug the M7 Cortex on this SOM?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi @SK156

It's OK if you run the Zephyr on the M core, you can refer the pin configuration.

Hi @SK156

The M7 core does not have dedicated physical pins. Instead, it shares the SoC's peripherals and I/O through internal routing and configuration.

Also because the i.MX95 is still in Pre-Production, we have not much information about it.

There is not an Application note or patch prepared for the i.MX95, so, we need to wait the release to get more information, steps to debug.

Hi Pengyong,

Thanks for the reply.

Can I refer the below zephyr link for the M7 pinouts in imx95 board?

https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/blob/main/boards/nxp/imx95_evk/imx95_evk_mimx9596_m7.dt...

Thanks!
