uboot and linux configuration for connecting LVDS disply ALC-156013-04-1 to LVDS1 [J8 and J3]

Hello to all.

we are trying to drive an LVDS LCD panel (P/N ALC-156013-04-1, mfc. CIVUE optotech inc.) using the iMX8qm-mek (SoB SCH-29420 rev C5; companion board SCH-29918 rev C1)

Our connection is drawn in the attached document (Untitled presentation.pdf).

Using imx8qm-mek-jdi-wuxga-lvds1-panel.dtb we lose the HDMI on the LVDS0 but we cannot see the image on LVDS1.

Could you please help us to understand why?

I hope you are doing well

Please refer to Chapter 6 Video and section 6.4 Display Interfaces of IMX_REFERENCE_MANUAL.pdf  for configuration of the display.

Kindly try with the device tree imx8qm-mek.dtb which supports lvds.

Hello Dhruvit,

I did exactly what you suggestied... so now I'm focusing on a different test of the LCD PANEL... I  need to be sure the panel works... before statign the NXP sw doesn't work.

I'll keep you informed.
