what Input multiplexing function mean in QN908X?

when i read the Input multiplexing function in QN908X  doc, but i can not understand what that module can do? which circumstances that will use this funtion?

can anyone to explain it more easy?

Hello, 

I believe you are referring to chapter 9 in the user manual, is that right?

If you do, that chapter just explains that you will need to use the input multiplexing in order to route an interruption to a pin or when using the pin as a DMA trigger.

Hopefully that it's simpler and help you a little more.
