Different versions of the protocol stack device connection

Hi everyone:

    I have two different devices, coordinate and end device. coordinate is zigbee 3.0 base device application note and end device is zigbee HA demo's ColorDimmerSwitch，respectively as follow:

    Now i want to establish link between coordinate and end device,but i failed.

    Note:These two devices use different protocol stacks

    Can you give me some tips or ideas? thank you!!!

Hello Zhang, I hope you're doing well!

The Zigbee 3.0 stack and the Zigbee HA stack are compatible, so you should be able to work with a Zigbee 3.0 Base device and your HA end device.

The ColorDimmerSwitch device is acting as a commissioner of the light devices, so it can control them.

May I ask, what is your final application? If the ColorDimmerSwitch is not working out for you, I would recommend you to try with the ColorSceneController instead, included in the JN-AN-1219 application note.

Hi Sebastian,

    As you said, the Zigbee 3.0 Base device works with HA end device well.

    I just want to control an HA OnOff  end device,now it works well.
