Hi,
I have a question for WDOG of LPSTOP3.
I hurry very much. Please give me a response early.
Q1)
Does low frequency reference clocks which is a clock source of WDOG stop in LPSTOP3 mode?
Q2)
At the time of LPSTOP3 mode, is there a method not to stop WDOG?
Q3)
In LPSTOP3 mode, does WDOG do LOST?
Best Regards,
soichi
Dear Soichi,
Regarding the Watchdog low frequency clock sources, please, refer to the "WDOG clocking options" section of the Reference Manual.
Most likely, based on this information, you will derive answers for the rest of the questions.
Sincerely, Naoum Gitnik.
Dear Naoum,
Thank you for reply.
Q1)
Is WDOG PD1? Or is it PD0?
※PD:Power Domain
Q2)
During LPSTOP3 mode, do you do LOST?
Best regards,
soichi
Dear Soichi,
Sincerely, Naoum Gitnik.
Hi Naoum,
Please let me explain the background of these questions.
Our customer is facing the hang up issue after LPSTOP exiting, which is discussed in the following thread.
(Hand up issue from LPSTOP3 mode)
https://community.freescale.com/message/387150#387150
They have not found the root cause of the issue yet, however their production is near-market. So they are considering WDOG as software workaround. They want to use WDOG to reset system when the hang up issue happens.
We would like to know if WDOG works properly during LPSTOP or not.
Best regards,
Matsuno
Dear Naoum,
I am always grateful for the daily support that you give me.
My application uses LPSTOP3 for intermittent operation.
And I want to use WDOG for time when irregular happened.
The above is the target of the question.
If WDOG does not function in LPSTOP3, I will put WDOG outside.
I am waiting for your response.
Best Regards,
soichi
Dear Soichi,
Unfortunately, there is no WDOG in the power domain 0.
Regards, Naoum Gitnik.
