Hello,

I'm beginning to play with Linux-3.13 and u-boot-2013.07 on tower board, and I'm looking for a good "Howto" to configure the system booting on NAND flash.

I've few questions :

- Where and how to write device tree block on flash?

- How partitioning NAND flash, the old way don't work any more? ( mtdparts=NAND:  etc.....)

- From timesys factory, how to rebuild the device tree?

Best regards,

Emmanuel

Hello,

Thank you for following up - yes, we are in the process of updating the Vybrid documentation to reflect changes for the 3.13 release.

The HOWTO Ubifs document is somewhat general; typically we suggest reviewing the MTD documentation located here for management of UBIFS rootfs:

http://www.linux-mtd.infradead.org/doc/ubifs.html

The Vybrid-specific information we will review and update. We will follow up in this thread once the process has been documented.

Thanks,

Timesys Support
