Hi,community

Our customer want to detection of signal or nosignal of NTSC imput.

Signal detection use register of VDEC_VIDMOD field descriptions of  bit "0" Have signal to set "1".

And detection level use VDEC_VSSGTH field description of "nosigthresh".

Question

Would please tell me what mean nosigthresh step by step valu.

If set to 0x001,Is this detect noise voltage? or noise period?

There are set to 0x101 is wlong. noise detection.

But set to 0x111 is no ploblem noise is no detect.

Hi Takahashi-san,

We are still working on the details, but we believe the 3-bit field defines the threshold level for the input signal.

If the setting is 'n', then the threshold level is 2 ^(n+1). ex. if nosigthresh is set to 0b010, the threshold is 2^3 = 8.

Best regards,

Richard

I think this is handled through the FAE's. This is the same project/issue as "VADC questions for NTSC input"
