Q: I copy content from an email or another document to my clipboard (ctl-c), and then I try to paste it into a discussion post (ctl-v), but nothing gets pasted in. What am I doing wrong?
A: It may be a security setting in your browser. Try the following steps for IE:
- Open your Internet Options from the Tools menu
- Click on the Security tab
- Select “Internet” zone
- Select “Custom Level…”
- Scroll down to “Scripting” and under that there is a setting for “Allow Programmatic clipboard access”
- Set this to “Enable” or “Prompt” and hit "OK"
