NXP Gazebo Launch Issue

Hi, I've been unable to get the NXP Gazebo simulation software to launch on my laptop using Ubuntu. I've followed the instructions up to the point where it requires you to use the command "ros2 launch sim_ignition_bringup sim_ignition.launch.py" to launch the software, which fails with this error:

[ERROR] [launch]: Caught exception in launch (see debug for traceback): Caught exception when trying to load file of format [py]: unsupported format string passed to NoneType.__format__

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix this?
