We have a custom board built with T4160RDB processor. I am facing the issue where uboot hangs. u-boot hang when reboot command issued from Linux console. But, it will work when normal power on and off sequence mean boots normally, What could be the issue?

Or T4240RDB board?
The Linux reboot is implemented using the RSTCR register - refer to the /arch/powerpc/sysdev/fsl_soc.c
Please check how RESET_REQ_B assertion is handled in your hardware.

Thank you for the reply. This the problem with hardware. Reboot works after implementing the RESET_REQ_B in Hardware side.

I am using T4160RDB-64B machine only.
So, for reboot from Linux console want to do the RSTCR register configuration in Linux side.
