T2080 VCORE controller alternative?

The 2-phase buck controller (IR36021) recommended for the T2080 core voltage supply (and implemented in the RDB) is obsolete.

Does NXP have a recommendation for a replacement controller that supports a manual VID programming facility (I2C or PMBUS)?

Use LTM4676A from Linear Technology. We have used it in our design with T2081 Processor.

There are no recommendations for replacing IR36021.

Use as Layerscape communications processor board schematic.

This board uses the LTC3882 as buck converter.
