T2080 USB control signals

If I don't use the USB power fault and usb power enable signals, would I have any problem with this interface?

I don't want to use them since I am using the same 5V regulator to supply USB and other devices, so I don't want USB controller to controls also those other devices.

Should I use a specific 5V source to USB so I can control it with the above mentioned signals or it is not necessary?

It is possible to not use the signals in question, but the board designer still has to take precautions to eliminate possible hardware damage in case of USB device power failure.
