we got a CodeWarrior floating license that we would share with an external developer for a new project in co-developing model, is it possible in according to EULA?
Hello TommasoTommaso Magnani
The Borrowing feature of the floating licenses allows users to ‘borrow’ a license
from the floating license server for a limited time, disconnect from the network and to use
the borrowed license even with no connection to the license server. For how to use it, you may refer to this thread:

Or you can contact us to get a temporary license. To submit a case, please refer to:

Hello Fiona,
I know that feature, but my question is about License, the EULA states:
"You may not rent, lease, sublicense, lend or encumber the Software,
unless otherwise expressly agreed to within this Agreement", in my
scenario we have to buy a new license to external developer? Or he can
"borrows" our license to develop in our team?
Best Regards
Tommaso
Hi Tommaso, here my comment,
This action item is for your own development project , right ? so I understand you are not leasing, renting the suite to your contractor or getting any profit from the suite use, since development is for your project, you are OK.
It is possible, just keep mind your license support a certain amount of seats.
The number of seats will determine how many user can run the tool in a specific time, make sure you do not exceed this number.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
