Maintenance procedure of MPX5100DP

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased some pressure sensors (MPX5100DP) for some testing stations, and I’m looking to implement a proper maintenance program for them.

They're used in different stations either to measure small air depressions (-20kPA) or small air over pressure (+40kPa), it runs only with air, no water comes in the circuits.

Does anyone know if there is a specific maintenance or calibration procedures for these pressure sensors? If so, what kind of checks or upkeep do you recommend to ensure their long-term reliability and accuracy?

Any advice or references to documentation would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Abdellah

The device does not need any maintenance, you just need to make sure that the device does not come into contact with liquids, this is enough for the MPX5100DP to work properly.

Just an observation, the recommended range for the MPX5100DP is 0 – 100kPa, are you sure you want to continue using this device?, I recommend you check the link below, this link has devices with better bandwidth for your case.

Have a great day and best of luck.
