could we use these sensors for measuring negative pressure of -2kPa?

Hello Marc,

The MPXx5004 family have a pressure range from 0 to 3.92kPa and not suitable for negative pressure readings as per the sensor can get damaged.

If you need to measure negative values of -2kPa or higher, we recommend the vacuum sensors below:

• MPXV7002 family with a pressure range of -2 to 2kPa
• MPXV7007DP differential and gauge pressure sensor with a pressure range of -7 to 7 kPa
• MPXV70025DP differential and gauge pressure sensor with a pressure range of -25 to 25kPa
