I have a customer who is looking to use the MPX5700GP. They would like to surface mount the part. Is it possible? I noticed in the app note it may be possible. Do you have a tool you can provide for lead forming? Do you have any examples of customers who have done this in the past?
As far as I know, we do not have or provide any tools to reposition the leadframes. I believe most vendors building and assembling the reference design could build a fixture that could do that for the customer.
