MMA8451Q Accelerometer Not Responding – I2C Communication Error

Hi,
I'm working with the MMA8451Q accelerometer on an NXP development board, and I'm facing an issue where the sensor is not responding over I2C.

I’ve double-checked the wiring and pull-up resistors, and I'm using the correct I2C address (0x1D). However, I keep getting a NACK on every read attempt.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with this sensor? Could it be a power or initialization problem? Any suggestions or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

please share your schematic with voltage levels and part values. Please let me know your required I2C communication speed and approximate length of the SDA, and SCL PCB traces and/or cables.

Please share a scope with the SDA and SCL lines.
