For the 6-electrode board with 6 LEDs that comes KITMPR121EVM, can the outputs to the LEDs be configured to be analog signals instead of discrete signals?

Hi Graham,

Unfortunately no, the GPIOs pins of the MPR121 cannot be configured as analog outputs signals.

But you can configure the outputs as push/pull or open drain as mentioned in the first Table on page 3 of the following application note: http://cache.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/app_note/AN3894.pdf
