Displacement detection using FXOS8700CQ in FRDMK64F

Dear All,

i am using FRDMK64F with matlab support package to identify the displacement.

The test case i am trying is that, moving the FRDM board like 'A' shape and collect the data and do a scatter plot on Matlab. The resultant pattern on the plot is always clumsy.

Base model sample rate is 1ms(task time). The ODR rate is 200Hz. also i tried other ODR rates but the result is same.

can anyone please help me?

Is not the sample rate of 1ms too fast considering the ODR of 200Hz? 

Anyway, in theory double integration method gives you what you need, but in practice double integration accumulates the errors in the measurement, so the results are usually not very accurate or reliable to use for such a measurement.
