Unfortunately I do not have any library for the MMA9555LR1, instead, I would like to recommend the following document: MMA9555L datasheet.
As we may know, the MMA9555L is provided with complete factory build application specific software, no additional user software programming in the device is needed.
At chapter 4 from the document mentioned before, the communication interface (the Mailbox Interface) is explained.
You can find Sample codes for the different applications (APP_ID) as well.
