We are about to start production of a circuit card which will use the MPXV2010GP. With the understanding of the vent on the bottom of the part, I am wondering if there are any best practices or advice available on applying conformal coating to the card without gumming up the vent on the bottom? The one solution I can come up with is masking off that area and only installing the part after conformal coating is applied. We would then apply conformal coating to the part's leads with a brush.
Thank you

Hi davebates47
Unfortunately, we don't have a document with a specific technique; it generally depends on how the customer wants to use the sensor. Sometimes, people are very creative when it comes to sensor placement.
But your idea sounds good, let me recommend just two documents to complement it.
AN1646, Noise Considerations for Integrated Pressure Sensors
AN3150, Soldering Recommendations for Pressure Sensor Devices - Application Notes

I hope this information has helped you, please let me know if you need help with anything else.
Have a great day and best of luck.
