Hi @dnewbe

Real-Time Drivers (RTD) are a collection of peripheral drivers set supporting real-time software on AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR applications designed to simplify and accelerate application development on S32 products.

Regarding the S32K1xx development package, this provides the below support for the S32K1 family:

  • New Project wizard support.
  • GHS and IAR Compilers support
  • FreeMASTER_Serial_Communication_Driver for S32K1xx
  • P&E Debugger support
  • LAUTERBACH Debugger support
  • SEGGER J-Link (with SEGGER GDB Server)
  • IAR debugger support
  • iSystem Debugger support

The development package needs to be installed, and about the installation of the RTD it depends if you are planning to use the software.
