S32k358 SBC_fs26 module

S32k358 I work on SBC_fs26 and I found this error ('Sbc_fs26_PBCfgVariantPredefined' undeclared (first use in this function)), taking in consideration that we are working using precompile option

I noticed that the value for " -Dcom.nxp.swtools.codegenscript.timeout=60000 " is different . It's currently set to a different value.
Do I need to change this value??

Dear Mariam,

I am not sure, why the " -Dcom.nxp.swtools.codegenscript.timeout=60000 " line appeared in your S32DS.ini file. I have checked my S32DS.ini file and I don't have the line there. Please rewrite the " -Dcom.nxp.swtools.codegenscript.timeout=60000 " with the recommended -"Dcom.nxp.swtools.codegenscript.timeout=-1"

I followed the provided steps, but the issue still exist.
Considering that we have attempted S32DS without any noticeable changes.

Dear Mariam,

please see a solution below, where another customer had similar issue. 

DESCRIPTION

There can be multiple reasons for the failure, here is a list:

1. Installation order form the HVBMS installation guide was not followed, BMS SDK was installed first then RTD.
2. Generation timeout of S32DS in order to fix this issue see section : 5.1.1.8.3.1 form the HVBMS installation guide.

“In case of difficulties in the code generation using S32 Configuration due to computer speed, it is possible to remove the timeout in the C:\NXP\S32DS.3.4\eclipse\s32ds.ini file by adding the following line: -Dcom.nxp.swtools.codegenscript.timeout=-1.”

Or if you are using the S32DS version 3.5, then in C:\NXP\S32DS.3.5\eclipse\s32ds.ini

After adding this in .ini file please restart S32DS and create a new workspace where a fresh import has to be tried.

Hi Jozef,
Thanks for your support but I have concerns:
1-We are configuring from Tresos tool, not design studio.
2-Also it is noticed that SBC_FS26_CONFIG_EXT define has no replacement parameter in the generated file CDD_Sbc_Fs26_Cfg.h

It is only generated correctly through Design studio

I think the problem is that the customer did not clicked on the Post Build Variant Used check box.

 Can they try this and see if the error is still there?

please see below an answer from the application team.

DESCRIPTION

Please tell the customer to update to the RTM version of the SBC_FS26, SW32K3_FS26_R21-11_2.0.0_D2308, it is compatible with RTD 3.0.0.  And configure the SBC as it follows.

This is avaiable in the bundle in package manager S32K358 HVBMS: Automotive Software Package Manager | NXP Semiconductors

thank you for the update. Could you please confirm the software and hardware you are using? 

Please state the full Evaluation Board number you are using. Is it RD-K358BMU or RD-K344BMU, or any other? Or are you working on your own board?

Which S32DS IDE you are using? 3.4 or 3.5?

Hi Mariam,

thank you very much for confirmation. This clears out, why you cannot download the recommended software. It seems you do not have a license for it. The license comes with HVBMS EVBs. So you are not using our RD-K358BMU EVB for HVBMS. This is question for different application team. I have contacted the other team. As soon as they answer me, I will definitely reply to you.

the application team suggests to use S32K3 FS26 RTM version. I have download it for you. Please find it attached.

I see the issue was reported on version 2.0.0 CD01

Can you please suggest they try 2.0.0 RTM instead?
