S32k144 UART receive message fail

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting S32k144 board to receive message from kw38 board using uart. As using lpuart_echo_s32k144 example(RTM SDK v3.0) and frdmkw38_lpuart_polling(SDK: 2.6.14) example respectively, I get the framing error status from S32k144. I have checked the baud rate set to 115200 on both side and the wires of uart between them are connected without any wrong. 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Eric,

The attached lpuart_echo_s32k144.zip select PTC2 for LPUART0 receive data. If you are using S32K144EVB, then you should notice that PTC2 is connected to TOUCH PADS by default.

The KW38 is 3.3v, so you may need to configure the J10 of S32K144EVB.

If you have USB-TTL serial tool, then it's easier to find out whether the problem is caused by transmitter or receiver.
