S32k144 CAN FD Setting

I am currently using the S32k144 MCU, and we are using the CAN FD setting in that MCU as follows.

According to that, I'm trying to match the setting below using 40 MHz Clock.
Arbitration Phase: 500kbps / 80% sampling
Data Phase: 1Mbps / 80% sampling

I'm trying to match the CAN setting with other MCUs more accurately to the TQ, but the value of segment is automatically set, so how can I change it?

Additionally,  according to the above setting value, it is calculated as Arbitration Phase TQ: 17, what setting do I need to do to change the TQ to 80?

Hi@woolim

1.1. Uncheck the option below, and you can configure the parameters yourself

2.The link provides a calculation excel for calculating CAN parameter configuration.

This is CAN FD communication that I have previously set up.

And it is the setup of CAN FD communication that I will change.

Both settings have the same Bitrate and Sampling Point, but each parameter is different. If I set it to the previously set value, will it be compensated separately?

When setting the bitrate with the previously set values, I would like to ask you because it seems that the bitrate does not come out.

Hi@woolim

"will it be compensated separately?"

To be honest, I don't understand what you mean

If you are not sure about your configuration, you can check the generated file to see what parameters you actually configured
