Hello,

I am tying the FreeRTOS SMP example using S32K388-EVB-Q289. Rev B

I  am using PEMicro Debugger (interface : USB Multilink, port: embedded Multilink Rev A) and I don't have T32

But it seems that only the core master runs and the other smp core is not running if i only use the debug config given.

So i add one more debug config, set core M7_2, try to attach but  "Break at address "0x20402400" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."

Hi @chansookang,

I have raised a ticket to the internal team to ask for confirmation whether the example supports PEmicro configuration. As far as I know, the Lauterbach scripts included with the example are needed to start-up core2 and control the program's flow. I've shown how to run the project in this community post: Solved: S32K358 - freeRTOS SMP - NXP Community.

Please wait until I get a response from the corresponding team.

Hi @chansookang,

Sorry, talking with the internal team, it seems that FreeRTOS SMP code version running in SRAM does not meet customer requirements (multicore). Also, the FreeRTOS SMP version is a code drop version, so the code may have issues or problems.

For now, FreeRTOS SMP is not working correctly in multicore. Could you help me by entering a support case to continue this internally?

Sorry for the late reply. I have received an answer from the team, however, I am still discussing with them the debug configuration and functionality for SMP.
