S32K3 RTD in S32 DS3.4

Hi NXP,

I have installed "SW32K3_RTD4.4_R21-11_3.0.0_D2303.exe". But after installing it there is not example code on S32K3 in 3.4 DS.

eclipse plugins is created having example code but this is not integrated in DS 3.4.

How to integrate this example code?

Hi,

to use New S32DS project wizard and New S32DS project from Example to create S32 RTD based projects you need to download Update Site.zip version of the RTD and install it as its release note states.
Anyway a RTD 3.0.0 Update Site is for S32DS 3.5 so will not work on 3.4 version, I think.

Hello Kishore, It seems you have installed the S32K3 RTD package, but the example code is not showing up in S32 Design Studio 3.4. To integrate the example code, please follow these steps:

1. Open S32 Design Studio 3.4.
2. Go to File > Import.
3. Select 'Existing Projects into Workspace' under the 'General' folder and click 'Next'.
4. Click 'Browse' and navigate to the folder where the example code is located (usually in the Eclipse plugins folder, e.g., 'C:\\NXP\\S32DS_ARM_v3.4\\eclipse\\plugins\\com.nxp.s32k3.rtd_4.4.0.202111030924\\examples').
5. Select the desired example project folder and click 'OK'.
6. Make sure the checkbox next to the project name is checked and click 'Finish'.

Now the example code should be imported into your S32 Design Studio workspace, and you can start working with it.
