When I power the S32K144EVAL board via micro USB cable or externally via 12v power supply ,The LED next to the reset button is on and a bit dim and I can't do anything such as flash/debug. Does this mean the board is in a reset state?

I'm using S32 Design studio.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

Are you able to just attach the debugger to the running MCU and look at registers?

Thanks for the response.

The debugger view is displayed however no source ,no registers, no variable , nothing can be read.

It is not running correctly. I looked at reset pin on scope and it looks like  a watchdog reset every 8 ms or so , reset is triggered.

I don't think it is a watchdog reset though, It is more like a running reset.

Thanks,

Koorosh

Hi,

I assume this is the issue we discussed in thread S32k open sda secure flash issue.

Unfortunately, I still don’t have a solution.

Daniel
