I am a beginner. I was trying to calibrate hall sensor offset for PMSM motor ( for Field-Oriented Control of PMSM Using Hall Sensor), and it shows "incorrect motor direction". And I know I need to reverse the motor phase connections from ABC to CBA.

But the question is, due to some reason (where I live is in lockdown, I can just stay at home), I don't have the tool to switch the phase A and phase C connection, is it possible to run FOC control model successfully?

Hi @fanqi1,

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

You have to do it from the pin assignment (AN12235 Table 3). But as you mention, physically reversing the motor phase connections is the simplest way to get your motor to spin in the right direction.

Hope it helps you. Please let me know if you have more questions about it.

Have a nice day!
