Can we use TJA1057GTK/3Z CAN transceiver with S32k144 MCU instead of UJA1169??

What is the purpose of adding UJA1169 in Eval kit?

Hi,

UJA1169 is mini SBC providing integrating supply for MCU as well as HS-CAN transceiver, so on EVB MCU can be powered from this SBC and its CAN transceiver can be used as well. But if you do not want to use SBC CAN transceiver, you can connect the TJA1057, you mentioned, to FlexCAN module of the MCU.
