Hello,

I have a question about the CSEC module:

In the CSEC module, there are some user keys, is it possible to change only one key value to FF, other keys not changed?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for the reply.

I have another question: If one key value is updated to FF with all the bytes.

Is it possible by csec?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback.

About the security debug, there is limit for the backdoor key. All 0s or all 1s cannot be used as the backdoor key value.

So they are different about the application rule.

There are no restrictions given by CSEc module and by SHE specification. Any value can be used.

Lukas

Hi,

yes, it is possible to update one key only.

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=AN5401&location=null

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=AN5401SW&location=null

Take a look at section 4.2.2 Updating key. SW example is also included.

Regards,

Lukas
