Hello NXP Support,

MCAL Version: SW32K3_S32M27x_RTD_4.4_4.0.0_P24

When I rename the following .h file to .hh, the ADC generation will fail.

Why is generated source code needed during code generation?

I asked because there is no local source policy in my working place, I can only put non-source code configuration like ARXML in local PC.

Hi @kumamon

The configuration generation is not necessarily based only on the ARXML. During the generation process, the MCAL configuration tool also require files provided as part of the installed RTD/MCAL package, including header files containing definitions or information required by the generator.

Therefore, if one of the expected .h files is renamed to .hh, the generator may no longer be able to locate or process that dependency, which can cause the code generation to fail.
