I am writing to inquire about the availability of a bootloader utility for the S32K344 microcontroller.
In the past, we have successfully utilized the RAppID bootloader utility to update the application code on S32K314 microcontrollers. However, as we've now transitioned to S32K344, we have encountered a compatibility issue, as the RAppID bootloader utility does not support the S32K344.
After reviewing the documentation, I noticed that the S32K344 offers a unified bootloader solution, but it operates over CAN, while our requirement is to send application update packets over UART. We aim to transfer either Application.srec or Application.bin files to the MCU and update the application using a UART-based bootloader.
My question is, is there an alternative or similar utility to the RAppID bootloader specifically designed for the S32K344 microcontroller? If such a utility does not exist, I kindly request guidance and suggestions from the NXP community members on the best approach to achieve our desired UART-based bootloader update for the S32K344.
I currently have an S32K344 evaluation board at my disposal for testing and implementation.
