I am using FreeRTOS with S32K396 development package. I was getting OS option under S32DS to configure RTOS related parameters.
After recent update, OS Option is missing from above menu.
I have recently updated my S32K396 Development package with March 2023 release. I no longer get option to configure FreeRTOS under same menu. I do not see option to add FreeRTOS through SDK. Following are details of my S32K396 package version number. Can you please help me to get FreeRTOS configuration option under S32DS.
#S32K396
Hi @jigs123
If you have already installed the lasted FreeRTOS release for S32K3 platforms, you can add it on ConfigTools at Manage SDK Components (please refer to the below image).
Whit this, you will be able to add FreeRTOS to your project.

I have following version of RTOS installed.
I do not see OS option in available SDK components.
Can you please help me to understand what I may be missing.
Hi @jigs123
Just to confirm, the package adds it to S32DS is SW32K3 FreeRTOS 10.5.0 version 3.0.0 CD2?
It seems that the package has not been installed correctly or does not support S32K396.
When I try to install "SW32K3_FreeRTOS_10_5_0_CD2_3_0_0_DS_updatesite_D2301" package, I get message that "All Items are installed". So version is "SW32K3_FreeRTOS_10_5_0_CD2_3_0_0_DS_updatesite_D2301"
Is SW32K3_FreeRTOS_10_5_0_CD2_3_0_0_DS_updatesite_D2301 compatible with S32K396? If not which version should I use?
Hi @jigs123
I made some test and the steps that I told you before just work with the S32K3 Real-Time Drivers Version 3.0.0 CD04 (SW32K3_RTD_4.4_R21-11_3.0.0_CD04_D2212_updatesite.zip).
Could you verify if this works for you?
