FlexCan is not initializing

We are using the S32K322 microcontroller with the NXP MCAL package driver for FlexCAN, specifically FlexCAN1. However, the driver is not initializing and we are encountering a timeout error. Another observation is that the driver performs a soft reset on FlexCAN but fails to set the property or encounters a timeout during this process. The MCU peripheral clock for FlexCAN is enabled, and we are using the example configuration for the S32K344."

Hi,

be sure both a module and CAN PE clocks are enabled and active.  In asynchronous operation, the module clock frequency must always be greater than the PE clock freq.
