As per the micro reference manual, we see that ETM module is not available in S32K342 and we have to choose the next version S32K344 micro which is only coming in 176 pin package and 4MB flash. For our application , all the other resources supported by S32K342 is good enough with 100pin package and also from cost side.
Is there any specific part number in S32K342 that supports ETM or Is there any
alternative for the trace feature support on S32K342. We understand the JTAG/SWD debug support is there , but the trace supported by ETM - I and ETM - D are not matched to this.
please let us know if we are missing anything from spec. We would need the data and code trace features supported during debugging our application.
