Hello, NXP team.
Could you please inform us if NXP plans to design a lightweight HSE firmware in the future? The current HSE firmware occupies 176K of FLASH space, which is too large.
In my project, I plan to only use the hardware AB swap function. My application code requires approximately 400K of FLASH space. I would like to select the S32K311 MCU.
In my plan, a 400K application code size should be just right for an AB swap system to fit within 1M of FLASH. However, due to the large space occupied by HSE, this is not currently achievable.
Does NXP have plans to design a lightweight HSE firmware that only includes AB swap and true random number generation, with the size of the HSE firmware compressed to 64K or smaller?
Thank you looking forward to your answer.
