Clock Source for FLEXCAN in S32k146 controller

Am using FIRC -48 MHz as clock source for the FLEXCAN is possible for we need external SOSC

here only SOSCDIV2_CLK is mentioned, does that mean we cannot use FIRC for FlexCAN?

Hi,

FlexCAN protocol clock can be selected either to be SOSCDIV2_CLK or SYS_CLK

If SYS_CLK is running from FIRC then PE Clock can be FIRC as well.
However FIRC is not recommended to supply PE clock due to its accuracy. Use rather SOSC or PLL running from SOSC.
