CAN CRC VERIFICATION

NXP’s S32K144 Family controller. we have a requirement to verify the CRC values for receiving CAN messages. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated CRC registers for receiving CAN.
Is there any solution to verify the CRC values what we are receiving on CAN?

Hi,

no, the module does not store CRC value received, just calculate CRC from message content and compare with received one. If not same a message in not moved-in into RX MB or RXFIFO and CRC error is generated. See ESR1 register for more info.
