S32G399A Run SRAM Demo ERROR

Dear engineers,

I encountered the following issues when using the S32G399A during a comparison test between my custom board and the VNP-RDB3 reference board:

Serial Output Issue: After using S32DS FlashTools to burn the "S32G_TestTransmission_921600_0x34080000_SRAM.bin" example to both boards, the VNP-RDB3 outputs data correctly, but my board does not output any data.

1.QSPI Flash Algorithm Error: Burning the QSPI FLASH algorithm using S32DS FlashTools on my board results in an error (the QSPI FLASH is the same model as the VNP-RDB3).

2.Working Demos: The M7 UART demo and M7 GMAC demo, burned using S32DS + S32Debug Probe, work normally on my board.

3.Additional Information: The clock source on my board is a 1.8V CMOS active crystal oscillator, which differs from the VNP-RDB3's clock configuration.

Crystal wave and S32DS Flash Tools error

hi,liuchi

Thank you for your information and question.

You should burn the download algorithm before load the image to the NOR flash. In your information about the “burning the QSPI FLASH algorithm using S32DS FlashTools on my board results in an error", I think you should check the hardware issue on your customer board. Make sure your algorithm is loaded successful.

This issue occurred after the Flash algorithm was programmed, and after programming, there was no waveform for the QSPI clock.

hi,

Sorry for reply late.

Could you share more information?

Can you flash the "S32G_TestTransmission_921600_0x34080000_SRAM.bin" to your customer board Nor Flash using Flash Tool? Do you have used a Flash algorithm on your customer board? What is the function of the image?

Hello Everyone

May I have a question, under folder

C:\NXP\S32FlashTool_2.3.3\examples\S32G\SRAM\

There are 2 bin files

- S32G_TestTransmission_921600_8E1_0x34080000_SRAM.bin

- S32G_TestTransmission_921600_8E1_0x34080000_SRAM_SINGLE.bin

I tried them to evaluation board (EVB3), flashing via UART

- S32G_TestTransmission_921600_8E1_0x34080000_SRAM.bin -> worked

- S32G_TestTransmission_921600_8E1_0x34080000_SRAM_SINGLE.bin -> Not show any console

What is the different between them?

Thank you!
