S32G3 block diagram shows

Networking:

4x FlexCAN
3x LINFlexD

1x 2-channel FlexRay

1x GMAC                   <--- this one
1x USBOTG
2x SerDes with PCIe 3.0 and 2 lanes each

Ethernet networks:

PFE, IEEE 1588v2 + AVB and three 2.5 Gbit MAC

So my question is what is the difference and/or relationship between

GMAC and 2.5Gbit Mac?

Thanks

Hello, @JasonTseng

Thanks for the questions.

There are two kinds of ethernet interface on S32G3, one is called GMAC, the other one is called PFE, the 2.5G there means that the PFE could support on three ports at 2.5G network.
