Test :
Ping test on PFE1. PFE1 is connected as mac to mac to external switch.
Ping from pfe1 to switch port connected to external PC.
I am working on a custom board based on S32G3. where i have connected pfe1 to external switch as MAC to MAC connection. from switch we confirmed during ping data sent from pfe1 is received on switch side, verified using MIB count.
on PC side, able to see the pfe1 MAC address. But on SoC side when checked using arp -a and tcpdump, it is not getting MAC address of peer. could you please help me with reason for this behavior.
