Dear,
I want to check if I I am going to use a PF5300 to work with a MVR5510AMDA4ESR2 to supply power to S32G3, which part number of PF5300 should I use?
I have looked at the datasheet of PF5300 and the goldbox3, it seems the part number is MPF53BDAMMA1ES (PPF53BDAMMA1ES in Goldbox3), is it correct and why is the part number PPF53BDAMMA1ES instead of MPF53BDAMMA1ES?
If it is correct that MPF53BDAMMA1ES should be used with VR5100, could you explain why a QM part can serve in a ASIL D design? Is it because of decomposition?
Kind regards,
Cheung
Hi,
The following information is provided under AN13118 - S32G VR5510 Safety Concept [Page 7, Rev 3, 08/2022], available under the S32G3 product page (link: S32G3 Safe and Secure Vehicle Network Processor | NXP Semiconductors
"The application with the S32G3 processor includes the PF5300 PMIC in QM version. The safety features are managed by the VR5510 PMIC."
In summary, PF5300 has QM qualification since the VR5510 will be the one in charge of the safety features.
Please, let us know.
Hi,
Where can I get the full detial datasheet of PF5300 ?
now I only have ds841820-pF5300(2.0).pdf, But in this file I didn't find out the detial iic communication frame, and where is the crc byte and how calculate the crc resualt?
best wishes !
