Hi,

I just test pkcs-hse demo on RDB3 board with QSPI flash boot, and the board uses a EMMC partition as rootfs(which is programed into EMMC device in previous), but the demo failed with following error:

root@nxp-s32g:~# hse-secboot -f -d /dev/mmcblk0
[INFO] Formatting HSE key catalog
hse: failed to open uio0
[ERROR] Failed to open HSE device - error 2
root@nxp-s32g:~# dmesg | grep uio
[ 2.199250] hse-uio 40210000.mu0b: firmware not found

The /dev/mmcblk0 is the EMMC device, and the HSE firmware has been preloaded with a full atf image into EMMC device.

The whole boot log is attached.

Would please help check the issue?

Thanks,

Zhantao

Hi,

At this moment, HSE related information is confidential and cannot be shared under a public channel. Also, RDB3 platform is based under S32G3 platform which at this moment is under control of distribution.

Please, help us opening a ticket on our NXP online service or sending this inquiry to your local NXP representative, for them to channel it through the correct medium.

We do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, have a great day.
